On Sunday 21st February 2016 our Regional Minister, Nick Lear,
preached at the morning service and stayed to share a lunch with the fellowship.
On Sunday 29th May our missionary friends from Belgium, Leslie and Elizabeth Message came for a visit. Leslie preached at the morning service
and gave details of his work in Belgium.
This was followed by a fellowship lunch which gave
the fellowship time for a chat with Leslie and Elizabeth.
On Sunday 25th September
A Harvest Thanksgiving Service was held and the items brought was taken to the
Witham FoodBank and the money Millgrove
A fellowship lunch followed the service and this was appreciated by those who shared the meal.
As in other years, the church supported Operation Christmas Child,
and brought their filled Shoe Boxes to church on
Sunday 6th November
A Carols by Candlelight Service was held on Sunday 18th December.
This was followed by a Christmas tea.
The Church supports the Leprosy Mission, and this year as last, they have said that churches can hold World Leprosy Sunday on a date of their choosing between January and April 30th 2017.
This year the Leprosy Mission is seeking funds to provide essential medical care at the out patients at Purulia Hospital in West Bengal, India which is currently woefully under-resourced
The Sunday we have chosen for this event is 2nd April 2017.
